Eliott Erwitt, “Paris, France”, 1989

In 1989 – the same year Chen Qiuchi was involved in the Tiananmen Square protest – Eliott Erwitt captured one of his most significant shots in front of the Eiffel Tower, which would occupy a prominent space in the international photography landscape of silhouettes.
