Falso Autentico is an art installation curated by Marco Nereo Rotelli and produced by glo™. It represents the multiplicity and the possibility of experiencing everything with awareness and control. Even apparent contradictions coexist within it. Falso Autentico contemplates opposites, even in its structure. The dome resembles an African house made of raw earth and water. The internal experience is engaging and involves immersion in technology. The external aspect of the artwork is inspired by Tolek dwellings, built by the Mousgoum people in the northern regions of Cameroon and Chad.
Raw earth symbolizes circular economy and environmental sustainability.
The chosen technology for constructing the artwork is imbued with material fusion to meet various functional needs. A small inner tower located at the center of the installation houses projectors and enables the dissemination of the artist’s messages, which have the important function of creating an interactive relationship between the exterior and the interior.
