The Avision series is inspired by a Russian poem from 1829 and draws from the Japanese philosophy of Yūgen (幽玄), which is recognized in the East but less appreciated in the West. In this series, the feminine aesthetic takes on dark and subtly mysterious qualities. Yūgen, though difficult to translate into Italian, conceptually aligns with the Sublime; both concepts are united by the awe-inspiring awareness of the grandeur of Nature and the Universe.
